Providing emergency food relief
We understand that many in our community are facing tough times due to the current cost-of-living crisis. In response, we are handing out Emergency Food Parcels to those in immediate need. These parcels contain essential, non-perishable food items.
If ongoing food support is required, we refer individuals to Bedford's established Food Bank.
Can we help you?
If a basic food parcel would help you out right now, please get in touch so that we can arrange for a collection from our office at King's House.
You would also be most welcome to stay for a cuppa and a friendly chat with one our team. A warm welcome awaits you!
Want to drop off donations?
Our food donation box is within the Ground Floor Coffee shop at King’s House (245 Ampthill Road, Bedford MK42 9AZ). Items can be dropped off on Sundays between 9am-1pm, or during the week between 9am-4pm.
We are always in need of donations of long-life food. The following items are particularly needed:
Rice | Pasta | Cereals | Long-life milk | Tinned food | Soups | Pasta sauces | Squash/Juice | Treats such as biscuits, chocolate, crisps etc
Thank you for helping us directly support families in need in our community!
